Applications to the Pelvis

Applications to the Pelvis

Explore the world of the pelvic bowl and the reproductive and elimination systems. This class addresses postural distortions, organ prolapse, pelvic pain, fluid and energy congestion, and reproductive and elimination difficulties.

Applications to the Pelvis students learn to…

  • Access the lower energetic center located in the pelvic bowl
  • Mobilize the entire large and small intestines
  • Assess the location of the uterus and ovaries
  • Assist with elimination through the large intestine and bladder
  • Decongest the entire pelvic region
  • Help clients understand the relationship between energetic and emotional congestion and pelvic organ health
  • Enhance awareness of the bony pelvis, sacrum, and coccyx

The Pelvis series is designed for manual therapists, as well as practitioners working in yoga and core-strengthening arts. You will understand the core relationships between the pelvic organs and low back pain, elimination difficulties, fertility, and sexual dysfunctions.

Instructor: Marty Ryan, LMP
Course length: 2 days
CE hours: 16 hours

Applications to the Pelvis must be paired with Palpatory Anatomy of the Belly: Pelvis.
