Palpatory Anatomy of the Belly: Pelvis

Palpatory Anatomy of the Belly: Pelvis

This one-day training focuses on the structural frame of the pelvis and the palpatory experience of all the pelvic bowl organs. These tissues are the building blocks of the “core,” which has received lots of popular attention lately. The pelvis also contains our reproductive and elimination systems. The course addresses normal reproductive system and elimination physiology, and how tissues change when pathology is present. You will learn about the nature of water throughout our pelvic connective tissues, circulatory system, and bony structures.

Palpatory Anatomy of the Belly: Pelvis students learn how to…

  • Distinguish between the muscle wall of the belly and the pelvic organs
  • Palpate the pelvic bowl organs and the bony and muscular frame of the pelvis
  • Skillfully locate
