george_mackie_headshotGeorge Mackie, LAc, is licensed acupuncturist and Certified Zero Balancing practitioner and instructor with the Zero Balancing Health Association. George has a private practice in Boise, ID while also maintaining an active teaching schedule of Zero Balancing courses including Zero Balancing I and II, Geometry of Healing, and Freely Moveable Joints.

Like many Zero Balancers, George was introduced to ZB in acupuncture school and fell in love with the work. After completing the initial acupuncture training, he went on to qualify as a practitioner of Zero Balancing and then, further, as a faculty member on the Zero Balancing staff. Zero Balancing has truly enriched his life and, by extension, the lives of those around him.

George lives in Boise, ID, with his wife and three grown children where he continues to study qigong and Taiji Chuan alongside Zero Balancing and acupuncture.

Grandmaster Xu Mingtang, PhD, is a Qigong Grandmaster and the founder of ZY Qigong school. Heidi Nebel Ochsner, MS, Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutritionist

heidi_nebel_2009_v3Heidi’s enthusiastic love of food brings a joy to nutrition that is often lacking when dietary discussions arise.  She believes that nutrition and digestion are the body’s foundation and directly affect every aspect of health.

Heidi received her master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University.  She is a Certified Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian in Washington State, and has recently completed a 7-month post-graduate nutrition internship through Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. 

Heidi works as a nutritionist at the Tummy Temple in Seattle, WA where she specializes in working with digestive disorders, detoxification, and food sensitivities. 

Heidi loves to teach and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Washington and with Love Your Guts Seminars.  She is an aspiring writer and plans to publish fun, delicious, and educational cookbooks.

Joseph D. Drumheller teaches Clinical Hypnosis, focusing on the art of subconscious healing and performing the miraculous in the context of daily living.

Joe spent three years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham, Washington, doing hypnosis with physician-referred cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment.  In over 1,000 sessions he has helped clients overcome subconscious roadblocks on their journey to becoming the best version of who they can be.

He received his Master’s Degree in 1991 and worked for 12 years as a geologist in numerous parts of the world. He was certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 1991 and is registered with the State of Washington.

 Love Your Guts Seminars

 

Marty Ryan, LMP, brings to his work a deep understanding and caring for the body. He is a passionate belly massage educator and is dually certified in both Maya Abdominal Massage (MAM) and Chi Nei Tsang (CNT). He has taught palpatory anatomy and belly massage seminars across the U.S. since 1998.

Marty is Massage Therapy Team Lead at the Tummy Temple (tummytemple.com) in Seattle, Washington. In addition to his professional practice, he teaches Love Your Guts (loveyourguts.net) manual therapy training seminars for massage professionals. This four-part certification series focuses on the palpatory experience of the abdominal organs and connective tissues, the layers of the belly from skin to spine, and a wide variety of treatment techniques for pathologies of the digestive and reproductive systems.

Marty says, "I like to teach, even while I am working with patients," and feels this is the best way to enhance awareness, understanding, and healing.

Love Your Guts Seminars is a bodywork education company dedicated to bringing the world of the abdomen and viscera into a whole new light. We use high impact learning strategies to integrate whole-body-systems physiology and visceral anatomy information into a thoughtful and effective approach to belly massage. Mary Murphy, LMT, CST-D, Certified Zero Balancer, has been involved in therapeutic bodywork for 25 years as both a practitioner and advanced bodywork educator. 

Her teaching style creates a warm, creative space in which to discover new ideas and skills to inspire, nourish, and expand personal and professional growth.  She is passionate about the immense potential Zero Balancing offers in balancing and revitalizing at the deepest level of our structural and energy systems. 

Mary is a certified instructor and practitioner of Zero Balancing (ZB) and is a member of the Zero Balancing Board of Directors.  She is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Chicago School of Massage Therapy with additional diplomate certification in CranioSacral Therapy, and in Neuromuscular Therapy. She currently teaches basic and advanced Zero Balancing classes including Zero Balancing I & II, Geometry of Healing, the Spirit of the Organs, and Unlocking the Secrets of the Scull. 

For the last decade, her clinical practice was based at Advocate Medical Group’s Center for Complementary Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.  She supervised the therapeutic bodywork division in the medical residency Complementary Medicine rotation. She has also worked in pediatrics at an outpatient rehabilitation clinic for children with learning and developmental difficulties.

In fall of 2008 she opened the Zero Balancing Wellness Center of Chicago.
